A short explanation of what happens to a photo you upload, to your RSVP, and to the name you type in.

The important part, in two sentences
The host of the event decides what happens to your data, not us. We are the technical service that stores it on their instructions.
If you want something deleted or corrected, the fastest route is to ask the host. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will help.
Who is behind this page
The xtwo.events platform is operated by Marko Stjepanović, Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße 3, 78112 St. Georgen im Schwarzwald, Germany. Contact: kontakt@xtwo.dev.
The event itself, its settings and all the data in it are run by the person who invited you. In legal terms they are the controller and we are a processor acting on their instructions.
What we collect, depending on what you do
- If you upload a photo
- We store the file itself plus its size, type and upload time. We do not store your name, email address or IP address, which is why not even the host can see who uploaded which photo.
- If you reply to the invitation
- We store the first and last name you type in, whether you are coming, whether you need accommodation, and any message you write. The message is saved into the same field as dietary notes, so please do not enter health details you would rather not share with the host.
- If you suggest a song
- We store the name you type in, the song title, the artist and a link if you add one.
- If you reserve a gift
- We store the name you type in. It is visible to other guests who open the same list, so the gift is not bought twice. If you would rather it were not, choose the anonymous reservation option.
- In every case
- Our providers keep ordinary technical server logs containing an IP address and the time of access. We use them only for security and abuse prevention.
How photos are shared
A gallery link works for anyone who has it, much like a house key. Share it with the guests rather than publicly. Each photo's address is random and cannot be guessed, so nobody stumbles across it by chance.
Photos also carry information your phone recorded alongside the image, such as where and when it was taken. If you would rather not share that, turn off location saving in your camera settings before you shoot.
There are other people in these photos too, so upload what you would share with the other guests anyway.
Cookies
There is no advertising tracking on these pages. We use only what is technically needed: remembering your language and, on a password-protected page, confirming that you entered the password.

Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing and to object.
- Ask the host of the event first. They can delete your entry, your photo or your reservation straight away.
- If that is not possible, write to kontakt@xtwo.dev and tell us which event it concerns. We reply within one month.
- You also have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority where you live.

Children
This page is not intended for children. If you upload photos that show children, make sure you have the consent of their parents or guardians.
